G.L.D.A.'S 2007 LAS VEGAS SHOW EXPANSION IS A HUGE SUCCESS. G.L.D.A CONTINUES IT'S EXPANSION WITH A NEW 2009 SHOW!!
Last year G.L.D.A. increased the size of their Las Vegas show by opening another ballroom -the Grand Elegance Room. This year G.L.D.A. continues its expansion by increasing the show dates for the Events Center. The G.L.D.A. show in Las Vegas is now a four day event. "It is growth stimulated by demand" said Tanna Wyatt the President of G.L.D.A. Exhibitors were very happy with the new four day venue. "The dates are great" stated one exhibitor from Singapore. "I come here and see many customers in America and other countries too." With the increased demand for more global accounts exhibitors saw the show as an opportunity to meet more international buyers. THE 8th ANNUAL G.L.D.A., INC. Gem & Jewelry Trade Show held May 29 - June 1, 2006 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada USA proved bigger is better as G.L.D.A.'s huge show expansion was exactly what the buyers were looking for. The addition of the new "GRAND ELEGANCE SHOWROOM" to the G.L.D.A. Las Vegas 2006 show at the Mirage was well received. This very special room, with only the highest quality gemstone dealers and jewelry manufacturers exhibiting, was a big success. THE HONG KONG PAVILION MOVED TO THE "GRAND ELEGANCE ROOM" AND WELCOMED ALL THEIR BUYERS TO COME AND SEE THEIR NEW LOCATION. The expansion allowed for more room and the addition of the India Pavilion to the G.L.D.A. show. "We are very happy to have this group join us in Las Vegas." stated Paul Page, Marketing Director for G.L.D.A. who worked with members of the group to make the India Pavilion a reality. Next year the GLDA 2007 Las Vegas show will once again grow - expanding the days of the Events Center showroom so now both showrooms - the Events Center and the Grand Elegance - will be four days long. THE G.L.D.A. LAS VEGAS SHOW HAD OVER 40 TRADE MAGAZINES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD PARTICIPATING IN THIS YEARS SHOW. G.L.D.A.'s 28th Annual Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show held January 31 - February 5, 2006 at the new "STARR PASS MARRIOTT RESORT HOTEL & SPA" opened Tuesday with festive crowds of buyers anxious to get to the HOT DEALS before they missed out!!! For the second year in a row buyers packed the aisles early on opening day to shop and enjoy G.L.D.A.'s fabulous new show location. Buyers were excited to get in and locate the super deals on treasures they knew awaited them inside. There was no shortage of new quality direct source foreign & domestic suppliers anxious to fill the buyers orders. A frantic pace of buying continued all day long with many exhibitors reporting sales that exceeded their total sales for the show in 2005. By the end of the first day exhibitors and buyers alike were smiling and very pleased with the shows outstanding results and the special location. This show, unlike many G.L.D.A. Tucson shows of the past, was easy for the buyers to shop with wider aisles, elegant carpeted exhibit halls, and all exhibit areas located in one central location.
