Intergem Joins Forces with Exposition Company to create “The
Mirage Jewelry & Merchandise Show”
October 21, 2009 Los Angeles, CA - Intergem and LEAP Trade
Show
(LTS) announced today a joint venture to launch and produce
The Mirage Jewelry & Merchandise Show which will be held at
the Mirage Resort and Casino Events Center in Las Vegas,
Nevada on Feb 28 thru March 3, 2010.
A producer of over 90 Jewelry Shows across the country
annually, Intergem is leveraging its position as a premier
event for consumer jewelry products and partnering with LTS
would expand its presence in the merchandise marketplace.
LTS caters to the value-priced merchandise marketplace and
has been producing events in Las Vegas, New York and
Atlantic City.
Lance Wakasa, Managing Director of LTS, declares “In teaming
up with Intergem, we are creating a distinct opportunity to
provide a very affordable show with quality buyers and
superior services that meet the needs of our exhibitors in a
recovering economy.”
Arnold Duke, President of Intergem, agrees “We at Intergem
have been through many challenges and changes. With the
current state of our economy, unlimited funding of
exhibiting in trade shows has become a thing of the past.
Past headlines concerning trade shows have focused on the
cost of doing business. Many exhibitors have not been able
to meet increasing costs of convention fees and services
including hotel and food services.
Many exhibitors have chosen other alternatives to display
their goods bypassing conventions completely.”
“Certainly, there is an on-going shift of sales strategies
for exhibitors and buying priorities of wholesalers,
retailers and consumers”, comments Paul Holder, VP of Sales
– LTS, who recently visited one of Intergem’s show in Long
Beach. “Intergem supplies everything that exhibitors need
during the show, business in conducted in a professional but
relaxed atmosphere and both exhibitors and buyers get good
value of whatever they spend”
Intergem and LTS staff is focused on moving ahead of the
marketplace by forging a partnership that will open
unlimited opportunities for exhibitors and buyers looking
for a good return on their investment. Under the current
agreement, the Mirage Jewelry & Merchandise Show will be
managed and operated by Intergem. Intergem’s product already
holds a strong presence in the jewelry industry and their
reputation is undeniable. LEAP Trade Shows compliments
Intergem’s strength by focusing on strategic marketing,
value-priced buyers and exhibitors, and increased sales for
the show.
Duke feels that LTS and Intergem’s objectives are one and
the same. “LEAP Trade Show believes in end-to-end customer
service and committed to satisfy the clients’ expectation as
much as we do without the unnecessary price increases in
booth pricing and travel arrangements. By keeping exhibitor
cost to a minimum and bringing in quality buyers, we feel
that this basic formula and our combined expertise will
yield a prosperous show for both exhibitors and buyers.”
