Tanna Wyatt, President of the Gem and Lapidary Dealers Association, welcomes you to "The Greatest Gem Show in the World". G.L.D.A. is celebrating its third decade as the premier wholesale gem show in Tucson, Arizona.
G.L.D.A. is a firmly established, successful wholesale gem & jewelry show promotion company. For the past 30 years, our Tucson show has enjoyed a booming success growth rate. Our show has included 400 exhibit booths which is the maximum that this facility would accomodate. Our buyer attendance from the U.S. and around the world has increased even more rapidly. We have large numbers of foreign buyers and exhibitors who attend each year. We also have our own in-house rental expo company.
The Gem Show held in Tucson, AZ each year in February is the largest gem show of its kind in the world with approximately 30 different shows being held at the same time. G.L.D.A. shows are the most prestigious of these shows with by far the largest number of quality foreign companies exhibiting with special emphasis on competitive gem pricing and direct source exhibitors.
Our show in Tucson has been located at the Radisson - City Center, and was established at this location for 26 years. In our efforts to improve the world renowned "Tucson Gem Show", we re-located our show in 2005 to the beautiful MARRIOTT STARR PASS RESORT. The amenities of the resort are un-paralleled in Southern Arizona, in addition to providing space for approximately 100 additional exhibit booths. This truly is "The Greatest Show On Earth".
Our 10th Annual G.L.D.A. Las Vegas Gem & Jewelry trade show will be held in the fabulous 90,000 square foot $120 million dollar Mirage Casino-Hotel "Events Center" on May 26th, through 29th, 2008. The Mirage Casino-Hotel is located on the strip in Las Vegas across from the Sands Convention & Expo Center.
Our shows consist of the "best of the best". Wholesale dealers from around the world offering quality and value in merchandise including Gemstones (all kinds/colors/cuts), Pearls, Carvings, Jewelry including Fine Jewelry, Antique Jewelry, Gold & Silver Jewelry, Designer Jewelry, and tools, equipment, etc. Our exhibiors come from all over the world - Asia, Africa, Europe, North/Central/South America - including but not limited to the countries of the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Hong Kong, Russia, Germany, Peru, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc. Included are groups from Germany, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and more to participate in our show.
